Welcome to the 4th Annual Homeless Hotel! We greatly appreciate your interest in staying with us.
The Homeless Hotel is a project aimed at raising awareness and funds for homeless youth. The money raised will go to support programs geared to assist homeless youth, operated by Moncton Youth Residences (www.myrinc.com) and the YMCA of Greater Moncton (www.thenewy.ca), which are two local non-profit, charitable organizations.
Included in this registration package, you will find everything you need to become one of our welcomed guests. We have provided information on homelessness, Moncton Youth Residences (MYR), the YMCA, and on the Homeless Hotel fundraiser. It is important for the success of the event that all guests follow the rules and adhere to the list of allowable equipment. Consent forms for all guests under the age of 18 must be completed and signed. As well, all teams are required to complete the registration form. Room rates are listed along with the amenities. Teams can book rooms by fax, mail, or dropping the registration form and room cost to the YMCA of Greater Moncton by May 28, 2007. A site map, an entertainment schedule, and room keys will be given to each team during the event registration.
Keep in mind that each school, office, and/or group is welcome to enter more than one team. Teams are limited to five members, one of which must be an adult. One member must also be designated Team Captain and he/she will serve as the main contact for the team. Receipts will be issued to any person donating $10.00 or more to the Homeless Hotel and who have provided their complete address (including postal code).
Check in and concierge service will be between 6:00 – 8:00 PM on June 1, 2007 at Riverfront Park in Downtown Moncton. Any additional donations, aside from room cost will be accepted and processed during the check in period.
